Call it what it actually is: extortion. this is not "free" market, this is the kind of piracy the US has been carrying on for centuries. The story tellers just spew propaganda allowing most amerikans to continue to live the lie.

Not. You need to update your paradigm. Start with the apparent facts that the Brits hae been in control of Iranian oil since 1908, that the IRGC is and has been a wholly owned subsidiarity of the City of London, that modern Israel is and has been a British project, and that England has had a strangle hold on global energy flow and shipping by setting oil prices, insuring all of the shipping in the world, and with the strategic activation of conflict in the ME, Iranian nuclear blackmail, and choke points like Hormuz. Trump is breaking the old, neo-colonialist system after 400 years of global control and implementing one in which their "globalist" BS is replaced by nation states doing business with each other and what works for them. That's what looks to be underway, anyway, whether or not it is ultimately successful.

Interesting perspective. For the moment I can agree with the "Trump is breaking" bit, that much is certainly true. I would appreciate you citing more for your assertion of "replacement by nation states".

I would definitely like to see your source for the City of London (define) assertion, and please connect the dots US/UK? I am willing to entertain another view, I do not yet have any idea what constitutes the actual foundation of your view(s).

Thanks for your considerate and thoughtful reply. It's not that common these days. To try to answer your question, I think it might be best to start with a fact that I think we can agree upon, that "globalism" has been ascendant since the end of WWII and, if you are familiar with them, that the so-called Great Reset, UN Agenda 2030, and the EU project are all examples, actually interrelated, of that enterprise. Supportive global institutions like the World Bank, WEF, and WHO have been agents of the same trend. All that came starkly into view in at least two ways. #1) Maybe most obviously, with the so-called pandemic and the total deviation from well-established epidemiology in the obvious service of a global control scheme.

Whether or not you buy that, certainly you see that the nature of the EU, with its attempt to eradicate borders and national controls, is in the service of a supranational entity controlled by an appointed elite. And it was George HB Bush, he of the CIA, from whom I first remember hearing talk of the New World Order, as a handful of national air forces cooperated to go after Saddam, who has come more and more to look like a scapegoat with the passage of time. That would fit with the old paradigm, as would the second Iraq war, in which the 5-eyes intelligence services and Tony Blair played big roles.

#2) Okay, so now fast forward to Brexit and Trump's 2016 election and the firestorm created, if you remember, when Trump tried to meet with Putin. Without getting too much into details that I fear may raise more questions for you than they answer (e.g. Why has the UK never been able to leave the EU? Why has Trump's mainstream press coverage always been 97% negative? Why did the EU, Soros, and the Obiden take over Ukraine in 2014 and begin the bombing of the Russian speaking Donbas as a staging area from which to go after Russia?), I will just point out the obvious pattern: whatever you think of them, Trump and Putin are both nationalists (as is Xi, another leader that we've been encouraged to hate), and Brexit is a nationalist effort, all in direct opposition and a threat to globalism. What I was getting at when I said "replacement by nation states."

Now, there is much more, about Britain's perpetuation of her empire through economic and political stealth after ruling the waves militarily became untenable. About the role of the so-called Atlanticists in American "forever wars" and the pattern of extortion that you correctly reference. And about the trail of clues that show that what Trump has been doing since his first term has been to rework the global architecture, in the process targeting the UK and EU, of which the Iran operation is the latest installment and which has now moved into an all-important attack on the global network that finances the international system of banking elite, drug and human trafficking cartels, and fraudulent control of governments around the world.

As much as I have time for, but I can suggest you check in on a group that calls themselves Promethean Action. They really know their stuff when it comes to the Brits and the so-called Great Game. Elizabeth Nicksen (another Substack) is a wonderful Canadian journalist, although she deals with other things, mostly. Richard Po has done some very obsessive historical analysis, e.g. "How the British Invented Communism and blamed it on the Jews." It's a book, but you can find his original article online. Good luck. It's all very confusing and the psy ops are everywhere, and seemingly good people turn out to be working for this or that party line. But what you're looking for are the larger patterns and for things that rule out this or that party line. In this case, whether or not things end up where you think they're going.

We are in agreement in many areas. Thanks very much for taking the time to cure some of my curiosity.

Having been in the oil business and worked for ten years near the Arabian Gulf, I can attest to the fact that our global crude oil system is built to absorb delays and re-route shipping as needed. Most countries have significant buffers (e.g., SPRs) which can replace stalled / slow crude oil shipments for weeks or even months.

However, that's not the case for things like fertilizer and helium, both of which are highly dependent on the Strait of Hormuz for their shipment, to say nothing of crude oil products such as jet fuel. E.g., miss a planting season due to low fertilizer availability, and you can miss a year of harvest. A lack of these products is much more likely to contribute to a global recession, because sufficient alternate resources are not easily available. Yet we hear little analysis of those events.

Excellent perspective. Thanks!

Quite a bit there the MSM etc isn’t mentioning. Probably doesn’t fit their narrative.
