The Inner Circle Is Crumbling
This Saturday marks one month since my father passed, and I’d be lying if I said it isn’t weighing on me. Grief doesn’t hit all at once. It creeps in, quietly, unexpectedly, under headlines, conversations, and daily routines. And this morning, in the middle of that fog and up way too early, I turned on MSNBC's Morning Joe.
It’s something I’ve done for over a decade, not because I trust them, but because I study them. Don't get me wrong, I used to trust them, and hang on every word. But then Trump happened. Now, when I want to take the pulse of the system, I don’t look at press releases. I look at the messengers. Mika and Joe aren’t journalists, they’re instruments of narrative management. Watching them tells me more about what’s going on behind the scenes than any official report ever could.
And today, Joe told me everything.
Joe Scarborough, live on air, while crazily ringing a bell on his desk said,
“Even if your crazy conspiracy theories are right, it doesn’t matter.”
When asked why he rang it, he added,
“We ring the bell when Tulsi Gabbard meets her low expectations.”
This wasn’t commentary. It was smug, ritualized contempt, aimed at someone who left the narrative plantation, and the Democrat Party, and refused to come back.
It reminded me exactly who these people are.
Scarborough, the former Congressman who walked out of D.C. with baggage the press won’t touch, and Mika Brzezinski, daughter of Zbigniew Brzezinski, one of the most influential foreign policy architects in modern history. These two didn’t work their way up through integrity and truth. They were installed. Positioned. Groomed to maintain a carefully curated illusion of dissent, while reinforcing the approved boundaries of debate.
That’s not opinion. It’s documented. The WikiLeaks DNC email leaks from 2016 (see appendix below) show that Mika was in direct contact with the Clinton campaign, expressing concern about negative coverage and offering to “fix it.” DNC officials talked about sending staff to her house to calm her down. Morning Joe wasn’t a news program, it was part of the machine. In other emails, the DNC discusses coordinating with Morning Joe producers in advance of coverage. Scarborough himself may not be named directly, but the message is clear: these people weren’t just covering the campaign. They were protecting it.
When Clinton lost, they didn’t skip a beat. They shifted gears and went full throttle on the Russian Collusion narrative. Years of coverage, based on nothing, built entirely on leaks, circular sourcing, and strategic lies. It was never about holding Trump accountable. It was about disabling his presidency by any means necessary.
These people live in McLean, Virginia. That’s not a coincidence. It’s the intelligence community’s backyard. Langley is right down the road. It’s where retired CIA officers, defense contractors, and narrative engineers buy million-dollar homes and keep their mouths shut.
For decades, they got away with it. But not anymore.
The digital age broke their grip. People are watching, screenshotting, digging through old videos, archived emails, declassified documents. The public memory is longer than it used to be, and the tolerance for bullshit is near zero.
So now, when someone like Tulsi Gabbard breaks from the script, they don’t debate her. They mock her. They ring a bell. They perform little rituals on live TV to keep the audience in line. But it’s not working.
Joe’s quote—“Even if it’s true, it doesn’t matter”—isn’t dismissive. It’s defensive. It’s what you say when you’re out of options and losing control of the narrative.
They’re not gatekeepers anymore. They’re just the last ones standing on a stage no one respects, trying to convince the audience the show isn’t over.
But it is.
If you're done letting the same people spin the same lies and mock the ones who told the truth too early, you’re in the right place. The curtain's not just lifting. It's collapsing.
Thanks for reading!
